Holidays in L.A. – To Leave or Not to Leave

Holidays in L.A. – To Leave or Not to Leave

Is it okay to sometimes bail on your career?

I used to stress out about it.

I would board my plane for Boston on the 24th of December…

…and return to L.A. on the 27th.

I was terrified I might MISS OUT on some giant opportunity.

I would proudly tell my agents, “I’LL ONLY BE GONE A COUPLE DAYS.”

PACKED ON A CROWDED FLIGHT, I would congratulate myself…

I WAS DEVOTED to my career.

Guess what?

THIS WAS STUPID.

Go live your life, people!

The industry is SLOW for November and December.

It’s OK to check out for a bit.

Your life will be FULL OF OPPORTUNITIES.

Just for the record though…

…YOU WILL GET CALLED for a GREAT AUDITION after you book your plane ticket.

It’s seriously a science.

Happens to everyone.

Try to laugh it off and go where you’re going anyway!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
